* Revisited (Rewizyta) – Master filmmaker Krzysztof Zanussi directs a pastiche of sorts that connects four of his earlier films (FAMILY LIKE-1971, CAMOUFLAGE-1976, THE CONSTANT FACTOR-1980, WITH A WARM HEART-2008) in a “where are they now?” take on previous Zanussi characters. The prolific Zanussi, familiar to the old U Film Society ranks and film
festival audiences here, was a three-time visitor to the Twin Cities in recent decades . His followers will recognize some of his favorite actors in this nostalgic look at
three of his prize-winning films as he discusses their work and what happens to actors after their films are finished: Maja Komorowska and
Zbigniew Zapasiewicz from "Family Life" ( they also appear in Kieslowski's "Decalogue"), Daniel Olybrychski( with more than 130 features to his half century as one of Poland's top stars--most recently as the spy Orlov in "Salt" with Angela Jolie); Jan Nowicki.
The Zanussi films "Constant Factor" and "Camouflage" are also explored in this unique examination of his own works. Director: Krzysztof Zanussi | Poland | 2009 | 90min | in Polish w/ English Subtitles
