Hailed by critics as “Hitchcockian”, this slacker psycho thriller stars Aaron Stanford as Michael Adler, who has run away with his little brother, Dylan, to protect the boy from certain abuse at their father’s hand.

While Dylan stays holed up in a cheap motel all day, Michael works at a convenience store where everything starts to come together for him. But as Michael falls in love with his beautiful, but saucy co-worker, Carly, his past begins to catch up with him. With both self-realization and the law at his heels, Michael must once again make a run for it. What he escapes to is the stuff of nightmares.

Tim McCann is a New York-based director and cinematographer who also teaches film at SUNY Purchase. His first two films, the award-winning Desolation Angels and Revolution #9, were met with overwhelming critical acclaim. Runaway is Tim’s fourth movie.
