FEARLESS FILMMAKERS - U.S. PREMIERE of IMPALER

Director: W. Tray White

US PREMIERE - IMPALER: THE DOCUMENTARY

Jonathon "The Impaler" Sharkey threw himself into the race for MN Governor on Jan. 13th, 2006. His 13 point platform included helping farmers, improving the public school system, and advocating for better benefits for US veterans. However, it was his 'coming out' to the media as a "Hecate Witch", "Satanic Dark Priest" and "Sanguaryan Vampyre" that garnered Jonathon, National & International attention. His candidacy marked the beginning of the largest amount of media coverage ever given to an unknown third party candidate running for Governor in American history.

IMPALER documents the strange fascination the media had with Jonathon and the macabre, absurd, funny and ultimately heartbreaking events that took place throughout this 8-month long documentary. Jonathon has made more announcements since the completion of this documentary including his candidacy for President of the United States, his promise to "impale" George W. Bush if elected, and a threat to "impale" the filmmaker of IMPALER at this screening of this film mocks him in anyway. This is a must see film!

There will be a Q & A with director, W. Tray White & Jonathon Sharkey following the screening.

FOLLOWING THE SCREENING will be the official, after party at Stub & Herbs with free food and drinks with your ticket stub.
